At Sugarless, I wear two hats: CEO and Chief Quality Officer.
Every single day, I personally test our meals using a Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM)—on myself. I don’t just rely on labels or nutrition data. I trust the numbers my own body gives me.
Take today’s first meal: Braised Meatballs with Fermented Bean Curd.
Just 7g net carbs, no starch, no added sugar—one of the cleanest low-carb meals on our menu.
But today, my CGM briefly showed a spike to 10.1 mmol/L—just for a couple of minutes before it dropped right back down. Naturally, I took it seriously.
âś… I immediately discussed it with our kitchen team.
✅ We reviewed all ingredients—confirmed: no starch, no hidden carbs.
âś… The likely explanation? A temporary CGM glitch, which happens sometimes even with the best sensors. But we will still keep a close eye on it.

đź’ˇ Why do I test every meal myself?
Because our customers deserve real food that delivers real results for health —not just on paper, but in real blood sugar control.
When I say Sugarless Kitchen is low-carb, I back it with data—and with my own body.
